Documentation center
The Documentation Center and Library room, located in the hallway of Palazzo Braschi, offers a free information and documentation service that provides access to SIMART and the Museum's Library, with the help of a room assistant and, upon request, museum curators.
SIMART is the computerized database where both the works belonging to the Museum's collections and those preserved in the other Museums of the Capitoline Superintendence, as well as the most important archaeological sites and monuments of Roma Capitale, are catalogued.
The Library, which specializes on the Museum of Rome's collections and on Roman artistic production between the 17th and 20th centuries, houses in this space about 3,000 titles, from the wider library holdings located on the fourth floor, organized on open shelves and divided into the sections: Rome, Repertories, Art and Artists.
